Protecting your genetic data

  • Your genetic data is a special category of data (GDPR, art. 9) and identifies you and, in part, your family.
  • Use only trusted tools and read what they do with what you upload.
  • Turn off the use of your conversations for model training and memory across conversations.
  • Upload only what is needed, never alongside your name or date of birth.
  • Delete conversations when you are done.
  • You have the right to know who processes your data, to access it and to have it erased.
  • In the CESGEN ecosystem, the laboratory knows only your sample code; your name is known to your professional.
